I am so upset right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My boyfriend Cameron and I broke up and I still have feelings for him. Then someone wrote a note to him saying I hate him because he's so rude! Actually he's very polite!!!!! I told him i didn't write it but he didn't believe me!!! Now we're going to different high schools...

The spirit of this talk came to me about 1/3 of the way through reading it. It spoke to me of an immense gratitude which I feel for being a member of this church.  Not only is it this church, but it is His church.  I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the same church which Jesus Christ himself set up when he was ...

So I'm a writer rite, well last night I was on my bed and I wrote this poem. I normaly go to Brooke or Sara about my poems but their kinda hard to get ahold of these days.  If there might be any other people who write poems and are good can you tell me this makes any since at all?   Sweet nothings To see your face, I'd give the world...

I just finished reading the talk "My Soul Delighteth in the Things of the Lord", and it was a good talk. It made me think of my own upbringing, and the upbringing of my children.  I loved the following statement: "I delight that I am a daughter of Heavenly Father, who loves me. I learned of my divine identity in my earliest ...

For some reason, I love the commandment of paying tithing.  It's probably one of the top 10 commandments of which I have a burning testimony. I love this quote (as well as Jacob 2:19) "President Heber J. Grant stated, “I want to say to you, if you will be honest with the Lord, paying your tithing and keeping His commandments, He...

The video above is of a band called "Florez", who really did quite well.  But the real reason for the video above is for the LDSMusicians group to see Art City Park, where the LDSFest will be held this year. I just did a quick panoramic for people to analyze and with which to become informed. That's really all.  We got bored a...

Well...  The video says it all, but for those of you who don't want to watch it, here's the low-down. Woke up Saturday and it rained for about 4 hours, so Plan B only got to play one set.  The set we played absolutely rocked, and I can't wait to get the footage from the videographer who shot the set (I'll be putting up snippets for sur...

This is the first time I think I've ever watched / listened to / read a talk given by Elder D. Todd Christofferson. My first impressions of him are very, very high.  He has a very poignant, straightforward, yet very soft tone to his voice.  He does not waver in his speech, and seems completely convicted of the things he says. I enjoye...

As I sit here listening to, watching, and reading the talk given by President Uchtdorf, I'm puzzled by my lack of caring of the faith of my fathers. I don't exactly know why it is, but I.....  I've never really looked at what my parents believe being a part of my faith.  I don't know if that is wrong or what... What I believe is what ...

Last week was a week of upgrades! The studio was able to finally get serious (well, at least semi-serious) about the way we look. Previously, the studio "rack" was nothing more than a cut-out backwards bookshelf bought at Walmart, and with all the stuff we were able to upgrade last week, it was finally time to buy a real rack. We...

So...  Here's a thought for ya.  Mormon had seen the end of his people.  He knew the Nephites were going to be destroyed, and not only that, he knew how and when they were going to be destroyed.  Verse 6 confirms this by relating, "...and knowing it to be the last struggle of my people".   He knew his people...

It's 2:00am and I'm sitting down here writing and recording music.  I'm trying to do some really relaxed "Trance" music, and .... I'm not entirely sure how it's gonna turn out, but it feels good being able to record music again. I don't even have a name for the song I've been working on for the last month, but... it'll come when it'...

Man...  I've been having mixed emotions about the oncoming trip to California for a number of reasons.  I mean, this trip really has been putting both me and my wife through the ringer.  First, I got a new job, and am being quite challenged by my new tasks there.  Taking time off to go on a vacation right now isn't the best idea...

We just got back from a wonderful dinner at The Old Fisherman's Grotto on Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey California. The halibut was quite wonderful, but not nearly as good as the side-dish of clam chowder I got.  It really was fantastic. If you're ever in Monterey, CA, you simply have to get a bowl of that chowder.  It's quite amazing....

So, the past few days have been days of trial, and these days come and go largely, I believe, to help me remember the covenants I've made to God, and to help me remember how sweet it is to feel the Spirit. When I read the end of verse 11, I wondered what those who had never felt "clasped in the arms of Jesus" might think of those ...

Wow...  3rd Nephi 17.  This has been one of my top 5 all-time favorite scriptural chapters since I first read it when I was 14.  I love it. The first 6 verses, to me, envelop the love Christ has for us, and the appreciation He must feel when we show our grattitude toward Him.  There were no words uttered by his audience, yet H...

Beginning this chapter, another testament to the correlation between peace and keeping God's commandments is apparent.  Giving "strict" heed to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel undoubtedly brings peace. Now, on a totally different note, I wonder where Korihor came from?  It just says that he came into the land.  Was ...

I think these chapters are too short.  Interesting to note that the scripture says that the elder or priest would "kneel down with the church", yet the congregation doesn't kneel down today. Also interesting to note that the sacrament prayer is one of very few prayers which have to be said verbatim, and hasn't changed at all ...

I just thought I'd let ya'll know that I got a new haircut a couple of days ago.  I think its swell. I guess this just goes to show that I'm not entirely sane... pretty much... ever. The mohawk has quite a story which I might as well divulge right about now. It all happened about 7 years ago, when my brothers all got together for some event...

Ya know...  The first thing that hit me while beginning this chapter was this:  How in the world did Noah get selected to be king? I mean, really.  Verse 1 lets us know Zeniff had at least two sons.  Could his other son be that much worse than Noah was?  Burning a prophet of God at the stake?  C'mon...  I w...

I haven't been getting much sleep lately...  So I think I'll write about.... something.  I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to write about, but it's been much too long since I've written to continue not writing any longer. I found this link today, given to me by this dude.  It's a great theme for a blog, and I hope it goes far. ...

So, again, something kind of odd.  Mormon was 16 when he was commissioned to be the leader of the entire Nephite army.  Is that not insane?  Seriously.  Every 16-year-old I know barely has the sense to tie their shoes in the morning!  Okay, not really, but - wow.  Mormon was 16 years old when he was put in charge of th...

This chapter was interesting.  The first thing I noticed is that Samuel had some serious insight as to things of God.  He prophesied of the destruction of the entire Nephite nation in the last chapter, and in this chapter, he details quite specifically, events which were to occur at both the birth and the death of Christ.  Interestin...

Okay...  Quick story... Last Thursday, I was looking around the Internet for a great deal on a new pre-amp I want for my studio.  Happens that about 2 hours into searching, I found a deal almost too good to be true.  I found my 8-channel Focusrite Platinum Octopre for $300.00 less than anywhere I could find ($400.00 less than retai...

So, a few weeks ago, the studio acquired a Jackson electric guitar and didn't really have any experience with it.  So a good friend and client of the studio came in and messed around a bit with it, and using a great dual-mic technique to get the most out of the amp, we managed to get a very, very nice guitar tone out of it. Soon, it will be ...

Something which I've never even tried to verabalize, let alone write down is the subject for today's blog. I've always thought there must be something wrong with me, since I've always been almost at the point of being tormented spiritually.  That may seem a bit harsh, and surprising to those who know me, but it's true.  Never actually ...

I just got done reading this article in which Dan Glickman states some figures on how the Hollywood box office did in 2007. With all of the cracking down and spazmic hooplah the RIAA / MPAA has been spewing, you'd think the figures quoted in this article would be something akin to "worst year ever, due to piracy!" or "box office s...

I just returned from a family vacation at "Down-At-A" water-park with all my immediate family (minus Andrea) and had a blast. During the evening of the first night, the discussion was lulling a bit, so Curtis and I decided to begin discussing some doctrinal points of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. During this discussion, both Curtis and I ...

Since I recently have switched to XFCE on my work computer (all home computers are still running Gnome), I've noticed a strange behavior with window focusing.  I'm trying to decide whether this is a feature, or a bug. What happens, happens once-in-a-while and I can't get it to do the same thing consistently.  Whether it's because this i...
