Man... I've been so busy recording good music lately, I haven't had any time to let you all know what has been going on.
It's no secret that the studio uses Ardour as it's main digital audio workstation. So far, the program has been superb in its stability, scalability, and features to help create great music.
Recently, however, Harrison released a product called "mixbus" that is built on ardour, but full of the award-winning goodness found in pro-grade Harrison consoles.
(For those of you who are unfamiliar with Harrison, suffice it to say that many major motion pictures are mixed on Harrison consoles. Such movies as X-men 3, Spiderman 3, The Italian Job, etc...)
Anyway. Advanced Budget Studios now uses Harrison Mixbus alongside a slew of excellent plugins, such as those from linuxDSP, for tracking, editing, mixing, and mastering.
It's a serious step-up from an already amazing platform, so get ready for even better music coming out of Advanced Budget Studios!
