Alma : 52
Onward and upward towards the goal of finishing the whole Book of Mormon, writing about each and every chapter, by the end of this year.

This chapter was all about war, and strategy.  I didn't find anything particularly enlightening about it, yet I firmly believe that each and every word written in the Book of Mormon has a meaning - and will direct us toward Christ.

Now, to find that hidden gem in this chapter...

I guess that war is something which, in this earth's history, has been somewhat an inevitable phenomenon, and thus being, I might guess that writing extensively about the strategies used by wise men of God will help us in a time when we are placed in similar circumstances.

It seems that even though the wars were blazing at this time in history, the warriors always maintained their order, communicated and directed the war through the proper channels, and always kept an eye on the focus of maintaining their freedom - as opposed to losing themselves in the war itself, and focusing on eliminating the enemy.

Interesting to see what next chapter will bring...
