Curtis and Laura's Sealing

Update:  Due to the popularity of this post, some people are having a hard time viewing the video posted above.  If it won't play for you, simply wait until the gray progress bar has filled 1/4 to 1/2 of the way before you press play.  That should do the trick.

Yesterday I took the day off work to go to my bother's sealing to his wonderful wife.

When I came home, I tried to write down exactly what my feelings were about the day, but had a hard time finding the words.

Even now, I still can't quite capture exactly how marvelous their sealing was.

But even better, after Curtis and Laura's sealing, they brought in the 7 children of theirs, and as they walked by and gathered around the altar, I couldn't hold back the tears any more.  I also saw that for the first time that day, Curtis got choked up as well.

It was the definition of beautiful.  Thinking about the experience now causes the same spirit to swell within me.

I guess Keenan said it just about as good as words could.

After the sealing, the sealer told all the kids (two of whom were sealed to Curtis and Laura yesterday) to line up and look at the mirrors on the walls, which repeat to infinity.  While standing there, I heard Curtis ask Keenan, "How far can you see?"

Keenan looked for a moment, and replied, "forever".

Doesn't get any better than that.

Enjoy the video.

Laura,

I would have to agree...... Your temple excursion brought tears to my eyes as well. I know that I will have to give you the biggest hug when we see each other again. And the most perfect temple as well. Bountiful Temple, Special to me as that is the same temple that I took my endowments out at and the perfect setting for family pictures as well.

See you soon.....
